How To Select The Right Affiliate Marketing Programs To Promote

Let's face it...there are a TON of products and services that you can choose to promote when it comes to affiliate marketing.
So, which ones are best?
Well, the answer to that question is a little subjective, and over time you'll find your own sweet spot of the particular kinds of products and niches that you have more success with and like to promote...
But, as general rule, here are a few tips...
Evergreen Products
I first like to concentrate on promoting evergreen products and services.
These are products and services that will always be in demand.
They're not based on speculation or trends.
Things like: mattresses, t-shirts, shoes, etc.
Items that millions of people purchase every day online.
And some examples more closely related to the internet marketing / make money online world would include services like: domainsweb hosting, or any tool or subscription that relies on a platform or traffic source that will probably be around for a significant amount of time.
Recurring Subscriptions
The second type of product or service I like to promote as an affiliate is a subscription that pays recurring commissions.
Services like: email autoresponders, SaaS sales tools like ClickFunnels, click tracking software like ClickMagick or Voluum.
Services with a recurring model are great to promote, because if it's a really valuable tool, the more people you refer, the more you can start to build up a steady, monthly paycheck.
Then, all of your one-time payments from other products, like from the evergreen products you may also be promoting, will be on top of the recurring commissions you've built up as a baseline.

So, generally those are the two main types of products that are my favorite to promote, because they're generally the most stable.
However, I also like to include a few trending products in my affiliate portfolio, because trending products can be a nice additional income stream that can give you some steady commissions until that particular trend reaches saturation.
Some examples of trending offers would be if you were one of the first people to promote Netflix or Groupon when they came out, or services like Instacart and Uber.
In the beginning they provide a massive opportunity because not that many people know about them, and there probably aren't that many people promoting them.
But, eventually, those products and services reach a saturation point where it's not worth the effort to continue to promote them.
Especially if you're promoting them using a method like SEO (search engine optimization) that takes a little bit of time to get traction.

Another tip in regards to selecting affiliate programs is that I recommend signing up for affiliate networks like Shareasale.
The benefit of joining a network is you'll have access to and the opportunity to promote thousands of different offers all under the same umbrella, instead of having to manually apply to hundreds of different private affiliate program individually.
And just think...even if you only made one sale or commission each month from each one of the hundreds of affiliate programs inside these networks you'll likely get approved for, that could easily add up to tens of thousands of dollars in commissions every single month.

SEO Strategies For Affiliate Marketing

SEO (search engine optimization) is actually pretty simple. It mainly comes down to two things: on page SEO and off page SEO. On page SEO just means  optimizing your content  to rank for certain keywords. The main elements on the page you want to make sure and include your target keywords are your Title and URL. As far as the body itself don't worry so much about using the exact phrases you're going after word for word... It's more important that you concentrate on providing as much value as possible and writing for humans instead of trying to  keyword stuff  and trying to maintain a certain  keyword density . The other half of the SEO equation is off page SEO. This just means backlinks or  links from other high authority or relevant sites  pointing to the piece of content you're trying to rank. Off page SEO is also pretty simple - it mostly comes down to... The authority of sites linking to yours The relevance of the sites linki...

Is It Still Possible To Make Money From Craigslist With Affiliate Marketing?

So, you want to make money with  Craigslist  as an affiliate marketer, huh? Well, that makes sense... After all, Craigslist is one of the top 20 sites on the planet, according to  Alexa . But, even though it doesn't look like the site design has been updated since 1995, unfortunately, it's unusually challenging to game their platform. But it can be done. There's always a way. So, just to give you a quick recap of the evolution of Craigslist affiliate marketing over the years... In the beginning it was pretty easy...and then Craiglist closed all those loopholes Then it got harder, and so the marketers that stuck around started using virtual assistant services like  TaskBullet  to manually post ads in different cities in order to scale, and to try and avoid ads getting ghosted And then that got less effective Which brings us to where we are now. Now, two kinds of resources that I recommend checking out if you're serious about marketing ...

What Is The Average Salary For An Affiliate Marketer?

Honestly there really isn't an "average" salary for affiliate marketers because there's so many different skill levels when it comes to online marketing. Most people that call themselves affiliate marketers have probably made less than $100... While on the high end others make six or even seven figures every year. However, the magic number that I've found most people are aiming to hit when they first dive into the world on affiliate marketing is about $100-$200/day. Sure, everybody likes the idea of driving Lambos and Ferraris and partying on  private jets  and expensive yachts... But the reason why, for most people, $100-$200/day is all they need is that it's all that's standing in between them and having to be at their dreaded 9 to 5 job for 40+ hours every week. The great news is that $100-$200/day is really not that hard to achieve, even if you're just getting started and know nothing about making money on the Internet. Now, there a...
