Simple Bing Ads Affiliate Marketing Strategy


Although Google makes up for the majority of search engine and PPC traffic on the Internet, Bing still accounts for about a third of all search engine traffic, which is pretty significant.
And the advantage of advertising with Bing Ads is that they're much more forgiving than AdWords as well as affiliate marketer friendly.
Bing Ads allows affiliate marketers to direct link to their affiliate offers, which saves a step of creating a custom landing page for each offer you want to run.
This makes Bing Ads an easier traffic source to get started with for newbies.
Now, there are tons of different strategies out there when it comest to PPC (pay-per-click) and if you're really serious about mastering PPC and scaling then I would definitely recommend investing in a solid tracking software like TrackingDesk.
But in this post I want to give you one idea that can help you get started as an affiliate marketer when advertising on Bing Ads.
With whatever product or offer you decide to promote...
Try to make a connection to that offer by targeting keywords that get a lot of traffic but have very low competition and are dirt cheap per click.
You can research these keywords in the Bing Ads Keyword Planner tool.
One example of obvious keywords to target for a product would be...
Product: ClickFunnels
Keyword(s): Any long or short tail keywords related to ClickFunnels
Some not so obvious keywords to target for a different product would be...
Product: A product that teaches people how to make money with Amazon Kindle
Keywords(s): Target generic keywords like "amazon" or titles and authors of specific but popular books
Another example of not so obvious keywords to target for a different product would be...
Product: A diet/weight loss offer
Keywords(s): Target the names of popular and sexy celebrities that have sexy bodies
So, that's an overview of the strategy.
But the other element you'll need to get better at is copywriting, since the better you can write an ad, the higher your clickthrough rate will be and the more money you'll make.
